H1B Visa expired, Orig. I-94 expired, new I-797+I-94 card avail. - revalidation ?

On my pp, my visa is expired (Apr. 2002) and the I-94 I received when I entered the country has expired on the same date.

I'm in status since I've transferred my H1 using my current employer. Had a couple of questions :
a) Do I need to re-validate my visa or should I worry about it only when I leave the US ?

b) If I'm planning on travelling to a country other than India (like the Bahamas), then should I worry about my expired US Visa or is it ok if I carry all my papers and present it at Immigration ?

c) Does the Canada/Mexico option still valid ? I've heard that as long as setup an appt. with the Border Post then there is no problem.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Don't worry

As I understood you have your new i-797 valid (becuase you mention you are in status)

If you are planning to stay usa for more than 4 months go ahead and revalidate visa at st. Louis. (it takes 3 moths), or if you plan to visit india before next april you can validate at your home country consulate, while you are in india. (you have grace period to revalide in one year after visa and old i-94 expire)

I am not sure about visiting Bahamas create problem or not, but if I apply same logic as maxico or canada, then you should able to get visa at usa consulate over there, (i would call/ send email and double check with consulate before planning to visit Bahamas)

I hope this will help.

visiting bahamas

with expired stamp and new approval and I94 is ok. Per AC21 it is a valid thing to do.
