H1B visa application

In DS 156 form for H1B visa ,what category should medical residency training come-intention to work in US or intention to study.
for my visitor B1/B2, i got it for attending residency interviews but i put residency under intend to study and not under intend to work.
Can it cause any conflict in application

H1B is for work even though u r strating residency it is work so u should write intend to work on ur form

Funny, I allways wondered how to fill this out when applying for my J1s. I think for the H1b it is clear, you are a 'qualified worker and you come to work. With the J1 you are a 'visitor' coming to study (I had to remind myself of that once in a while during hour #30 of a PICU call: hey, this is not work)
