H1B under Advanced Degree Exemption Quota.

Hi all,

Hope all are doing good. I got a question related to H1B under Advanced Degree Exemption quota. My details follow:

I went to US on F1 on 24 Aug, 2001.
Completed MS (Comp. Sci.) in 2004.
Got H1B from Jan 2005 to Jan 2007.
Came to India for a visit on 22 Nov, 2005.
Went two (25 Dec 2005, 02 Jan 2006) times to The American Consulate General, Chennai, to get H1B stamped in my passport. They stamped "Cancelled wihtout prejudice" on my F1. They requested (thru 221g) for photographs of the company, project description etc, which I submitted.

I am trying to get a new H1 under Advanced Degree Exemption quota. What might be the issues with The American Consulate General, Chennai? Any information would be useful.

H1 stamp rejection was not because of your personal problem.
If you applied through different company(legitimate), I do not see any issues.
