H1b transit visa

Hi,

I am currently on H1B and planning to return to India permanently within the next two months. I wanted to clarify how long after resignation I can legally stay in the US? I currently have a valid H1B visa stamped on my passport. Will this be sufficient to fly back to India through Europe etc.. even if my employer cancels my H1B

Please advise,
 
to enter India you need Indian passport or visa for India or OCI or PIO. H1 or H4 visa are for entry to US and NOT for entry to India and India has nothing to do with H1 or H4 visa stamps.
 
If you are asking about the need to obtain transit visas for Europe if you quit you current h1 job but have a valid h1 visa stamp, then the answer is that you don't need transit visa to Europe on your way to India. H1b petition cancellation does not affect the validity of your visa stamp.
