H1B Transfer

I want to join the new company on July 5th. 2 weeks from now. I am meeting a lawyer on Saturday to do the H1B transfer. It is around 10 business days to get the papers ready,file and join.

In this case, what do you guys suggest? Go with premium processing? All I need is a recipt to start.

Do you have a rough estimate as to how long the whole things takes from Lawyer contact to getting the receipt?

The employer will not mind if I join 1 or 2 weeks late, but I am wondering about the lost wages in that period.

----- new company lawyer has to get new LCA for you and it is fax back system from DOL and can get in 1-2 days, many employers keep LCA with them in advance and filing or preparing takes 2 hours maximum then it has to reach USCIS if Fedex then second day, now you can count the days.
