H1B transfer withdrawal

Hi,
I was laid off recently and I was told by a immigration lawyer that I have only 10 day window to transfer my H1b.(Btw My I140 is approve 1 year ago and I 485 pending for close to a year. My EAD is pending. I did not apply for EAD till recently).

So in my haste I went with the first company agreed to transfer my H1b. Now there is a second company willing to transfer my H1b and this is the company I want to work for. Excellent opportunity.

It has been about 4 days since my company filed for my H1B transfer.

My questions are
1. Can I withdraw my H1B transfer application?
2. Can I leave my application there and do a separate H1B transfer for the new company and start working for the new company?
3. Will any of these affect my green card process?

Thank you..

II have another question regarding my issue.
The second company (which I really want to work for) is slow in making decisions and starting the transfer process (1st time doing a H1B). I doubt that they will be able to do the transfer process within the legal time frame. So I am going to request them to wait for few more weeks till I get my EAD then start working for them with my EAD.

If I do that that means I will be working only about a month for the company currently processing my H1B transfer.

My question is
Since I am jumping from one company to another, will this affect my GC process? If "Yes" please elaborate little bit.

Thanks a lot
