Hi guys, ,my current company with whom i was working went into bankruptcy and another old employer of mine is willing to hire me back. This happened while I am here in india currently and want to withdraw my application with visa embassy in india with the current employer who is no longer in business. Does anyone know if i can talk to visa embassy in mumbai (i had interviewed with them in delhi and they probably sniffed my company's financial status and wanted financial docs before they would approve it) and withdraw it ?

Would it be a challenge to take my old H-1b and new offer letter and get it approved ? My old employers H-1b visa is still active and he did not revoke it ever.

has anyone been in a situation like this before ? Any tips or suggestions would be great. Thanks for your help in advance.

You must talk to your old employer company Lawyer for legal advice. You are in India and want to join old Employer and you are NOT working with old employer Visa stamping pending with Consulate. It is complicated case. FYI for the straight cases at this time US consulates are asking truck load of documents for Visa stamping. Mumbai US consulate is not stamping H1, H4, L1 ,L2 as Mumbai Consulate is relocating to new Location in Bandra East, Mumbai in 2-3 months .

Thanks for replying to my thread. indeed its complicated. I did speak to my lawyer on this. I am withdrawing my current application with Visa embassy and submit my docs.

I know they are relocating but i dont know why would they not stamp H-1B and other visas ? I will enquire.

thanks for replying.
