I am a physician on J1 status. My residency will complete on end of August. and my status is will expire on August 31. My J1-Waiver application is approved. Now is the process of H1B petition filing. My questions are:
1. Is State Medical License is necessary to apply for H1B petition??
as the State medical Board refused to issue the Medical license unless successfully completed the 3 years of residency.
2. If I apply without State medical License, What are the chance that my application will reject.
3. Is there anyother way to get either State medical license or anyother documents to USCIS to apply H1B petition.
4. Can I stay in US, while my H1B application is pending?
5. OR, Should i apply for J1 status extension, please help me if there is anyway to apply for J1 extension.
