I came to US for the first time in March 2006 on H1B visa through Company A. H1-B visa/I-94 was valid until March 2008.
Company A applied for new L1-B in Nov 2006 while I was in US. I received the petition papers of L1-B and I-94 in December 2006. L1B & I-94 is valid till Nov 2009.

Company B applied for H1B transfer in Dec. 2006 and it got approved but I have not Joined Company B till now.

I am getting good offer from Company C.

Is it possible to transfer company A H1-B (that has got expired in March 2008) to company C?

Complication..

Talk to lawyers.

You were on H1 with A and changed the status to L1 with A., When you got H1 approved with B, I assume that was change of status which puts you back on to H1 status. You didn't join B, but since A had your H1 application in their hand, the fact you stayed at A without joining B under H1 MAY or MAY NOT be a problem(But I think the 1st I-94 is void because you got new I-94 with L1. If that is the case, not working for B is a problem). Now I-94 with A has been expired. You may have valid I-94 with B, but the question is whether I-94 with B dictates your current legal status even though you are still at A.

If I-94 with B didn't distate your current statust, you are in serious trouble as you are considered overstaying about 6 months.
