H1B transfer immediately after coming to USA - Is pay stubs needed ?

Hi,
Things were not going well with the employer who processed my H1b, and I came to US since another company was ready to transfer my H1B to them. They filed the petition for transfer, in the same week I landed in US. Will USCIS insist on pay stubs in this case ?

Any information on this would be really helpful.

If USCIS ask, then you should have a valid reason why you do not have them with you?
