h1b transfer "extenuating circumstances" and dependents

Hi,
I am transfering my H1b visa (j1 waiver position) under "extenuating circumstances" (my group is taken over by another company). Very accomodating employer. Question: do I need to fill any documents for my dependents or does everything get done automatically with my application?

When you apply for H1-B transfer with USCIS, you should also be applying for H4 transfer for your family also. You should also be applying for new I-94 for yourself and your family with the transfer.
