H1B transfer-Does it mean I require sponsorship

Hi.

I have been working in US on H1B for the past 2 years.

I am planning to change jobs.

I find that most companies pose this question in their job application process:

Will you now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.

I am a bit confused about this question.
Does it pertain to people who are already on H1B status or only for people who require a New h1B sponsorship.

Since I am currently on H1B, what should be my answer in this case?

Please advice!
 
Except US citizens and green card holders, all others who need work visa are considered as person requiring sponsorship by employers.
