Hi, I have a more complicated situation regarding H1B tranfer. Here is my story:

I have been working in company A (profit making one) with H1B. This April I transferred to company B (non-profilt). There was no problem with the H1B transfer process.

Now if I would like to transfer to a new company C (profit making one), am I subject to the H1B quota or not? I know that usually it taks a quota to transfer from non-profit to profit. But in my case, I have already worked in a profit before with H1, does it make a difference? I am so confused.

Thank you very much for your help.

ginnu and other gurus, please help

ginnu and other gurus, please help....

I can't find some answer for this question after searching the archives. Could someone please give me some clues?

the quota rule says that if you were counted once in the last 6 years towards the quota you will not be counted again. Well do some more reading cause the rule might be just one year. In either case you should be fine.

By the way, Ginnu:

Could you please let me know where I can find this information of the quota rules?

Thank you.
