H1B Transfer and Stamping and ..

HI All,

Need your valuable inputs.

I came to USA on L2 Visa and then applied for H1b (in usa) which is valid till 2007. But my passport still has L2 stamping as i didn't leave usa till now.

If i am changing my company and applying for H1b transfer, can i go to Canada for stamping or should i go to India as it will be my first time H1b stamping ?

Also, can somebody tell me what documents will i be needing for H1b Transfer ?

And last one ... My LCA has been approved last week from my current H1b employer through PERM. I can't continue that process paralelly if transfer H1b to another company, right ? (so that i can join them again after geeting EAD or so in 2-3 years)

VISA Stamping

Hi,

VISA stamping AFAIK, could be done in any country. You need not go to India for it.

I got my stamping in Singapore (1st time). So this should not be an issue. However, confirm this before you act.
