H1B transfer and renewal

Hi

Have a small question. Will be great if you could help.

I did my masters from US and applied for a H1B in 2007.
I moved back to India in Sept of 2007. Got H1b in Oct of 2007. Got it stamped from New Delhi, India.
Due to some family compulsions, I did not go back to the US. Have been in India since Sept of 2007 and have been working as an IT professional. My H1B is valid till Oct of 2010.
Now if I manage to get a job in the US with a new employer, can my H1B be transferred? If yes, can my new employer also file for a renewal?

So now its either going back to my current employer, or getting a new H1B in Oct of 2010.

if the employer who filed H1 for you has job in US for you then only come to US. If new employer has job for you then new employer can file H1 for you and you will not be subject to Cap and provide him copy of past H1 approval. Stick to your job in India and dont depend on H1 employer in US as they may not have job for you.
