H1B transfer - 3 day gap when switching employer

Hi,
I have a question regarding H1B visa transfer. I was working on Company A on H1B visa until Nov 02 2003. Company B filed for H1B which got approved on Nov 01 2003. I went to India on Nov 05 2003 and returned back on Jan 02 2004 on company Bs notice of approval. I got on Company Bs payroll on Jan 3 rd 2004. Also I entered USA on previous employers (company A) H1B visa and notice of approval of Company B.

My questions is what happens to my status for those 2 days from
Nov 03 2003 till Nov 05 2003? I did have an approval to join company B and I did join it BUT I did not get any salary for those days.
My appointment letter says that I joined the company B on Nov 03 2003.
Can I say that I went on vacation right after I joined ( 2 days in USA and then I was abraod for about 2 months) so I did not get paid?

few days dont matter. The fact that you entered US and obtained a new I94 after the error days, you are safe.
