H1b Total Lenght

I had a H1b for 3 years, after the first year I transfered it to a new employer, and they gave me a new H1b for another 3 years. So my question is: If I want to renew it after the 3rd year, they will give me a 2 or 3 year extension?

Also can anybody point me to an official site where to get regulations about those matters?

I read your post again and I had missed the 1st year . You would be getting it for 2 years ..
