I am currently working in H1B status. My 6 years H1B status is expiring on 20th July 2005. I will be resigning from my job on 15th July and then going to India on 18th July. My Wife is working here on H1B visa and her 8th year extension is valid till 2nd August 2006.
Can I get a H4 visa stamped based on my Wife's H1B from India without applying for change of status from H1B to H4 in USA.
If not, how can I apply for Change of status to H4 from here? Is it too late?
