H1B to H4 transfer

Hi,

I just got my H1B approved this october through company A. I am still looking for jobs through that company. Am I out of status as I did not receive any pay stubs yet (almost two months)?

Do you suggest me to transfer to H4 visa? What if I want to come back to H1B visa with an offer letter from a new company B? Do I need any pay stubs to get H1B from H4?

Do I lose my H1B if I just transfer to H4 with out working for the first company? If I want H1B again do I need to apply for fresh H1B which comes under quota every April?

Please let me know.
Thanks.

You are violating the term of H1 visa by not working.

you won't lose H1 even though you change the status to h4 and you don't need to be subject to quota next time you apply for H1 job.

can some reply 2 the second question

"What if I want to come back to H1B visa with an offer letter from a new company B? Do I need any pay stubs to get H1B from H4?"

Change of status is not allowed in the US if one is not maintaining status.
Pay stubs are documents to prove you are CURRENTLY in status when you are on H1. If yu are on H4 when you apply to H1, you are not supposed to have salary so that you don't need to submit pay stubs.
