H1B to H1B Visa Revalidation at Chennai - any experiences ??

I am planning to revalidate my H1-B Visa from the chennai consulate.
I have a expired H1-B and expired I-94 from my previous employer and a Valid I-797 from my current employer. I am going to India for a vacation in March and would do my stamping at Chennai. If someone can kindly give the following info it would be helpful
1. What are all the documents needed.
2. Should all the documents be put in the drop box.
3. Any queries at the consulate or Point of Entry.
4. Any matter of concern, please share your experiences.
