Hello everybody,
I just received email from USCIS that my application for H1b has been approved. I had filed my H1 under master's quota. I am little curious about the further procedure especially filling employment based green card. How long I will have to be on H1b before my employer can file for Green card?? I mean is there any minimum period that I need to stay on H1b before my employer can file for GC??? Also how long it takes to approve my labor certification once my employer files for it. I am in NJ. Is there any limitation for filing labor certification per year per teritory???
I know this is too early for me to know but I am just concerned about the situation where you don't file your labor certification and your H1b gets expired and you have to leave this country. any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
