hello all,
I've a question regarding GC processing and H1B transfers. anybody with answers will be appriciated.
I came to US on 16th January 2002 in F1 visa to do a Masters. Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete my studies after being doing it for like 2 and half years. I had a tiff with my professor and he did not extend my I20. So, I applied for a H1B through a consultant, got it, went back to India, got it stamped and came back to US on 4th October, 2004.
After coming here, I found that my employer is running a company just for name(will not find any project for me- I don't know why does it always happen to me). So, I transfered my H1B to a new employer, within one month of my entry to US.
Question:
1. when I apply for my GC with my new employer, will it be a problem that I did not complete my studies? I heard that they check all my academic background.
