hello all,
I've a question regarding GC processing and H1B transfers. anybody with answers will be appriciated.

I came to US on 16th January 2002 in F1 visa to do a Masters. Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete my studies after being doing it for like 2 and half years. I had a tiff with my professor and he did not extend my I20. So, I applied for a H1B through a consultant, got it, went back to India, got it stamped and came back to US on 4th October, 2004.
After coming here, I found that my employer is running a company just for name(will not find any project for me- I don't know why does it always happen to me). So, I transfered my H1B to a new employer, within one month of my entry to US.
Question:
1. when I apply for my GC with my new employer, will it be a problem that I did not complete my studies? I heard that they check all my academic background.

If you have been legal since your last lawful entry then you are OK. Ofcourse they will check your education background, that's why you hire a lawyer when you go thru the GC process for these kind of issues and woriies.
