I was here on my H1B visa but never did a job and converted to F1 and I applied for change of status and i got it approved. Later I got a job in the same university I did my Masters and I applied for my H1B visa and i got an approval for that too.
Am planning to visit india and attend for visa in chennai consulate. My questions are.
* will they ask for my previous H1 paystubs (it waz in 2001), i dont have any as I never joined a job.
* will they just ask me the details in my previous status or they will also consider a status before that.
I am maintaining my legal status from the time I am approved for my F1 status. I am working from august 2003 in the university, so I will have some 6 months paystubs and a W2 before I visit india. Will that be ok or I need more.
Please provide me with as much information as you can.
