I am currently on H1B status with a contract service company, but have not been paid since early November because my contract with the assigned company has been ended in November. I am thinking to change my status from H1B to F1, do you think that INS will ask me to provide my pay stubs? And if they do, would they think that I am currently out of status right now (since I don't get paid from November) even though my H1B status has not been revoked yet and my contract service company is still actively looking for an assignment for me at another company.
Anyone has this situation ? Or anyone has had this experience with INS about this, would you please let me know as soon as possible? Appreciate for all your comments!
