H1B to F1 COS denied...got new H1b approval..please help

My situation..

Was on H1B for employer A and got laid off in November 2010
My h1b visa stamp for company A valid until 2012
Applied for change of status to F1 in November 2010
Change of status denied by USCIS
Left USA to India in December 2010
Found a new employer and he sponsored H1B
New H1B approval received from USCIS

now my question is can I return back to USA with old H1B visa on my passport and show the new H1B approval? or

Do I need to go for visa stamping again?

Any experienced persons please help..

----Better go for Fresh H1 visa stamp based on latest employer H1 approval notice. FYI at this time the US consulate in India are asking lot of documents and many H1 and H4 visa are being denied. Get all the documents required from your employer.

I am not sure what to do now. please help.

If my visa is valid hopefully...this helps me in a big way and I dont have to deal with the hassle and chance of visa getting denied..

In case I try to re-enter US with the old visa and new h1b approval...and if VO at port of entry denies my entry into US..then how bad would be the consequences...will there be a ban imposed on me...or its just a denial and I can always come back after re-stamping from any US consulate in India?

------ Your problem is that you applied Change of status to F1 and that got denied and your new H1 approval notice does not have I-94 attached. for detailed info talk to a good lawyer for your best option and layer should know about Visa and about Consulates in US. you can talk to Muthy Law office or Rajiv S Khanna with all your details.
