I had my h1b approved until 2007. Got laid off July 2nd. To stay in status, I applied for Change of Status to B2. It is currently pending.
I have now received a job offer in an academic institution who requires me to join within two weeks.
What shoud I do?
File for h1b transfer? or apply for new h1b? Do I have to worry about getting a h1 stamp from abroad?
