I will be laid off August 22 and I am searching for a job.
I have question on H1B visa status.
To make my status legal, someone told me to change to B2 status so that I can stay further and have some time to find
a job for another H1B.
1) To change to B2, I129 and I539 are the correct forms for H1B and H4?
2) What kind of documents I have to file?
3) How long can I stay without future trouble for green card processing? ( I filed I-140 last Oct, RFE last Feb but not approved yet)
