H1B/TN Transfer Process Questions

I am currently on an H1B. I have been offered a new position, with a new company. This company doesn't sponsor H1B but will give me the required letter of employment so I can go back to a TN. I would need to fly out of the US back to Canada and back in again.
Assuming there is no problem going from a H1B back to TN. IS there??

I would like to convince the HR of this company to sponsor. I am not familier however with what needs to be done to transfer an H1B or the cost.

My questions are: can someone direct me to a site where I can get this information for the company so I can talk to them informed? They have never sponsored before and are totally ignorant of the process.

Is there any way I can go back on a TN and then if they decide to sponsor say in 6 months, I can have a transfer done instead of a 'new' H1B. Or would I need a new (2nd) H1B If I transfer is that considered a 2nd H1B ..?

Thank you for your help! I need to let them know tomorrow.

Find the fees for LCA, I129 (all alphabets) from the official DOL and USCIS sites. Lawyer fees extra (typically 2k)+ premium processing 1k
You can go back to TN. You have to do a new H1 after going back on TN.
