I am presently on J2 visa with work authorization and work for a company. My company applied for H1B and the same has also got approved. My question is : whether I can continue working for this company on J2 work permit until October 01...when the H1b would become valid thereafter.

I am presently on J2 visa with work authorization and work for a company. My company applied for H1B and the same has also got approved. My question is : whether I can continue working for this company on J2 work permit until October 01...when the H1b would become valid thereafter.

Furthermore, the J1 waiver petition is still pending...and H1B has got approved. Does this sound ok. Is the waiver not required any more?
