H1B Stamping in Vancouver.

All,
I have an appointment at the US Consulate in Vancouver on April 30, 2007 to get my H1B stamped on my passport. However, given my unique situation I wanted to know if I'm at any risk of a denial.

I entered the US on a H4 (dependent of my mother who was on her H1B) visa and started to go to a university here (Bachelor's). In August 2001, I applied for a status change from H4 to F1 and got my approval notice in December 2001. In July 2002 I went back to New Delhi to visit family and get my passport stamped with my F1 but my stamping was denied by the New Delhi Consulate based on the fact that both my parents are here and also because it was post 9/11 so the visa officers were a little more strict in giving out visas at the time. The visa officer put a "Cancelled without prejudice" stamp on my F1 approval notice and did not cancel my original H4 visa. In August 2002, I re-entered the US on my original H4 visa (it was still valid at the time) and I started back at my University (my sophomore year). In Nov 2002, I re-applied for my status change from H4 to F1 and received another approval in Feb 2003.

I graduated from my university in May 2005 and started working for my employer in Sept 2005 (on my OPT). My employer filed my H1B in April 2006 and I received my approval notice in August 2006.

My questions is, given that I was rejected in the past for my F1 stamping (2002) and also that my family is here, will it be risky for me to get my H1B stamped in Vancouver or anyplace for that matter?

I understand that the H1 visa comes with a "Dual intent" clause in it so I don't think the fact that my family is here should be a reason for denying me my H1B stamp on my passport. Has anyone had a similar experience they can share? Should I still go to Vancouver to get my H1B stamped?

Thank you...
