H1B stamping in Mumbai

Hi Friends, Does anyone have any experience in getting H1B stamped in Mumbai consulate recetly. I just ot my extension papers and need to visit home and not sure if I should wait and get it stamped here in US or it can be easily done back home. Is it as easy as going to consulate and showing up with all you paperwork ? Is there any risk? Any help is apprecited . Thanks!

Should be ok

Me and a friend of mine recently got our visas revalidated from mumbai.
I got it thru the interview process and my friend thru drop box.

If all your papers are in order it should be a breeze
