Hi,

I came from India on a F1 visa to my Masters. After finishing my studies, I worked on the EAD card (Optional Practical Training) for company 'A' , got my H1B petition approved through company 'A' and continued to work for them. After a few months, I got a job offer at company 'B', got my H1B petition approved through company 'B' and I am working at company 'B'.

After finishing my Masters degree I have not left US and hence have not done my H1B stamping yet. Will there be any issues in getting my H1B stamped at Mexico?

I don't think there should be any problem if you are on status all time since you entered in USA.

BTW, are you planning to go "Ciudad Juarez" for visa stamping?

Thanks. Yes, I have been in legal status all the time.

Yes I plan to go to "Ciudad Juarez". Anyone been over there ? Any experiences to share?

I have been there a couple of years back (3yrs) and there were no problems at all. All you need to do is carry all the required documents and you should be all set.

Not that you were not told, but please carry CASH with you to make payments towards your Visa fee, entry fee to Mexico etc etc.

Also there was a person called Victor Garcia who kin dof guides you through the entire process and he is good at it. Saves you a lot of trouble looking for directions when you have this person guiding you! moreover he's not expensive!
