H1B Stamping in Canada

Hi,

My visa stamping was expired on may2006(previous employer) and my new employer approved H1B is valid until Dec2007, but I have been working with new employer since 18 months, now i wanted to go for visa stamping in canada before i leave to india for vacation.
Note: This is my 3rd visa stamping, first time i got visa in India, second time i sent documents to st.louis by mail. I completed my 4 years in USA

My Questions are,

1) is there any problem as my visa stamping expired on may2006?
2) which consulate is better in canada? i am in newjersey
3) how to get canada visiting visa in newyork?
