H1B Stamping from Juarez after 1stNov

Hello,
Just now I heard a rumour that from 1st Nov2002
The above embassy will STOP issung visa for 3rd country nationals. Does any one know about this.
I have my appointmenet scheduled there in 2nd week of Nov.
I could not get any useful info after calling the embassy or the web page.

Generally if there is a change (like the pre april 2002 suspensions of stamping in canada/mexico) in such policy either you will receive notification (letter or email) regarding cancellation. Unless you hear from them, you should plan to go and get the stamp.

From November 1 the fees might increase is all the news I have heard about Nov 1, 2002.
