H1B Stamping at Chennai with 6-7 months validity

Hello Gurus,


This is my 7th year in for me US and my I am on 7th year H1B extn, which is valid from 01-Jan-06 to 09-JUL-07. Recently, I visited to Tokyo on Business and I got my Visa stamping done at Tokyo. But for my family, the H1B stamping got expired for them in May this year.

This December, we are planning to go on vacation to India and I took an appointment at Chennai consulate for H4 stamping for my family. Now the question is, since there will be 6 months(by Dec'06) and 15 days remain on the current H4 approval notices, will US consulate put any objection for visa stamping?

----------- I think your family H4 stamp expired and not H1
