YES, but you will get only new H1 not COS from your F1/OPT to H1. So you have to get visa stamping done out side US before starting your job

Getting visa interview in your home country i s very difficult. India it takes as much as 6 months nowadays. Plan accordingly.peepoo said:Thank you for the reply. If I apply now, when and how long I have to go out of country to get visa stamp? Thanks.
