H1b Revalidation - sincerely need ur help

my last H1-B visa(on my passport) expired last year on Sept01,2001.

My previous I-797 was expiring on sept 01-2002 so, my employer had applied for a H1 extension since June2002 and received I-797 approval on sept 25,2002.

Today its 13 months since my last valid Visa stamp expired.

If I go for H-1B visa revalidation within the US, would that cause it be denied?

If yes, how should I go about getting new Visa Stamp?


Please help me out on this one.
 
Yes stamping might be denied, since all they compare is the date on the visa stamp and the approval date on the H1 approval. You can always give it a try with all three h1 approvals.

Alternatively you can get an appointment with consulates in Canada/Mexico and get the stamp or visit home country to get the stamp
