H1B - revalidate query

Hi All,
My H1B visa was stamped in 2006, by my previous employer. Unfortunately, the project was scrapped and my US travel too. Later, I changed my job, where again, I didn't get a chance to travel to US.
My visa has now expired in April' 08, without me gettin a chance to travel.
I heard from someone that H1b can be revalidated within 1 yr of expiry.
Is that true??..
If yes, can someone pls give me details??...

------------------where did you changed your job? in US or out of US?

----------------it seems that the employer who filed H1 for you in US and got approved and based on H1 approval you got H1 Visa stamp but you never came to US to work for that employer. it simply means that US employer did not have job for you

No

Youcan not revalidate your H1B again unless you get a new approval(H1) from your current employer.
