My husband is on H1 and his visa expires on oct1 2008 . he filed for renewal of h1 and his petition is to be approved . we are planning to get stamping in canada or mexico how long will it take to get appointment with canada or mexico in current situation . I heard that there are no appointments for canada in sep .

Please plan for a week's time. There were postings about faster approval though.
