H1B Remainder Period

My fiance has 5 years of H1B remainder period left from her previous H1B through Company A in India. She has been outside USA for more then a year now
Our wedding is scheduled in April 2008. Now, since the remainder H1B period would be cap exempted, instead of H4, I would like her to enter USA in May 2008 by claiming the remainder H1b period.
Assuming a USA company is ready to sponsor her H1 B, Is this doable or there is a problem in claiming the remainder period? Can the remainder be only availed by the first employer based in india
or any new employer(India or USA) can do this? (I'm aware she qualifies for a fresh 6 yr H1B but that would be subjected to quota
 
it should be doable, but employer "being ready" is not sufficient. Her H1 must be approved with new sponsor before entering the US.
