H1b Rejected. Pending AOS application

My wife H1B extension is rejected. She is pending AOS applicant as dependent. She is having AP and EAD. Can she work with same employeer ( H1B employeer) even through her H1B extension is rejected. Any out of status or Un authorized employment. Please advice.

any effect on my 485 Application.

If she is dependent and as long as she has a valid EAD then not only for her current employer but she can also work for any employer she wants.

By the way what was the reson for H1 rejection? Just to see if there is any link...

In fact I had my H1 extended with

AOS pending. Probably the rule is that H4 with AOS pending cannot apply for H1.

Just my guess but take a lawyers advice on this.

WHy do you worry when your wife has a EAD as it will allow her to work anyplace anywhere with any employer.

She can work on EAD, no she is not out of status. Why was H1b rejected .. I'm hella curious.

I have my AOS pending(RD:01/02) and my employer has extended my H1 too!
I am wondering wheather your wife case also similar....

anyhow if you could post the reason for H1 rejection,it will be useful for lot of us.

details like, RD/ND, location,etc.
