H1b reapply, different employer, MS quota

Hi,

We got H1b filed by employer A and employer/lawyer has the receipt number for 2008 US MS quota. We don't have the receipt number yet with us. We found a better employer B and we would like to apply H1b through this employer B.

Without the help of Employer A, is there anyway to find receipt number to use it while filing new H1b through employer B? We are worried about the scenario, where, by the time we file our application from employer B, the US MS quota will also be completed.

Ask for the proof of your H1-B filling from your employer A. Tell him u need it for your records....he might give u a copy of the reciept or some thing.
