Hi

Can anybody give me info?

My wife came to US on F1 visa and converted to H1 directly after she finished MS ( she did not take OPT). If she goes to canada for re-entry stamping, and if it gets rejected, can she come back to US and go for stamping in india later? She had her F1 visa valid stamping till 2006 in the passport (they gave it for 5 years when she got F1). Is that good enough to come back to US? or should she go to india from Canada if it is rejected?

Thanks

--- If she gets rejected in Canada then she has to go directly to India from Canada, she will not be allowed entry to US from Canada. I see very less chance of rejection if she has her education/degree from US

--- no becase she changed from F1 to H1
or should she go to India from Canada if it is rejected
