H1b Question ?

Hello

If a person has an H1B visa stamped for a US company say 'A', but he is still in India. He also has another H1 Approval Notice from another company 'B' which is valid for another 2-3 months. And now this company 'B' decides to call the person to US. The H1 Visa stamped for Company 'A' is still valid. Therefore, can the person

1. Travel on the already stamped Visa for Company 'A' and join the company 'B'.

2. or Should he apply to the Embassy for new visa for the company 'B'.

It is better to get the new stamp, since most likely the company B visa would have been set for consular notification.
Moreover, it is illegal to travel into US on A's H1, if you intend to work for B.
