H1B - question - unusual approval of this case

I applied for H1B in April, 2006. Petition went to Texas service center.

Today USCIS shows the status as "the appropriate American Consulate or port of entry was notified by cable, telephone, or fax of the approval of this case."
Contrary to other known cases where it is like "This case has been approved. an approval notice was mailed".

Has anyone encounter this issue? What does this mean? Various resource is giving different answers, some are telling that it is not approved, just the case is redirected to different center.

Please share your experience and answers.

most likely, ur case was approved but this could happen if you ticked in your h1b application that you would be processing your h1b stamping at a specified american consulate outside the country as opposed to AOS, adjustment of status.
 
i got the same message, on august 7, today is october 3, and its the
same message, it means that case is approved...

and i did not get any other message

my recpet no : 06 jun

i got RFE on sep 25th

then today Nov 14th i chcked my status initially it was "this case is approved on 14th nov........e.tc"

after nearly 1 hour later the status again chged as "this case is been notified to US port of entry for approval................."

am damn confused..hw can this happen in 1 hour duration..

Waiting for APPROVAL of H1 and F1 OPT is expiring pls suggest

Hi friends

please tell me what to do i filed my fresh H1 in Late June 2006 and still under processing and have not heard anything from USCIS and my F-1 OPT status is going to be expired on Jan 10th 2006

Please tell me what to do
should i go to Premium or just wait for approval or stay on f1 getting admission in another degree program or what to do
