H1B Processing method

Hi...
Any body has Idea on how the H1B processing happens. I have my receipt number of 6th April which is pending for approval where as I can see some receipt numbers of 20th april already approved.

People say that Once u get the EAC number it has to get approved 100%. Is that true or there are any complications?

how long did it take you to get the receipt number after sending your application...

i have applied for H1 transfer on May 18th and i havent got the receipt number yet...its almost two months...is that normal that it takes this long to get the receipt number....i can understand the delays in the whole process...but this long in getting receipt number...you have any idea about this...

and as far as your case is concerned...i think you dont have to worry...i saw some people who applied at the same time like you and still waiting for approval...read some other posts in the same forum...

Thanks Omer for your quick response. I belive you are in the States now. As you have mentioned very rightly that many other people are also waiting for the approval who have got the EAC number on 6th April. But I can not understand how the approval has come for the people whos receipt number is of date 10th & 12th April. As you are in the states & you have gone through the whole process of 1st approval, can you please tell me how they pick up the papers for processing & is it sure that once EAC number comes the approval will definitely come...Please response I am a bit worried.

No need to worry...its been a holiday season here in USA these days...so the work at INS is at a slack...may be you are looking at the premium processing case that have been approved and which are applied later than you...
so just relax and wait for the approval...

Amor...Thanks again.You are very right. Those may be the Premium ones. Any way we will have to wait & Watch. I have one more thing to ask...I got a call yesterday & they told me that they are calling from Japan & they were asking about my position in the company & what does the company do...I gave them the details.. The number which was displayed on my mobile was a number from US...Is there a posibility that INS people might have called for checking if I am working in the company or what???Do u have any Idea???

You said some of the guys with Receipt Nbr on 20th april got approved
Mine is also have reciept nbr 20th april,2005 but still i did;t get any approval.

Any idea or you know any other information on this
