H1B Premium Processing Instead of EAD Renewal

From the recent posts, it looks like EAD renewal will take at least 4 months = (90 days of pending EAD renewal PLUS 4 weeks of iEAD processing in local serivce center - since no same day iEAD will be allowed anymore)

Why not to consider another solution?

Any pros and contras on filing for a NEW H1 with premium processing which is supposed to take only 15 days?
 
How many months before EAD expiration should I file for my EAD renewal? .. any hope iEAD's will start to be given same day again .. as it used to be before?
 
Not sure of anything when its with INS

We can only hope that there are no more attacks on US. If there are we the long term waiters on INS Q are sure get screwed up first.
 
I have already started looking into the EAD and AP docs and would file in Dec first week.

My Ap is valid till March 03 and EAD June 03.

Given the INS situation, there is no other way than to file much before.
