H1b Premium processing taking more than 15 days

Hi,

I have applied for my H1B to Vermont Service Center and have requested premium processing.

My lawyer got an receipt stating that the application was received. That was 20 calendar days back (13 business days), but the case status still states that the application is being processed. I had called the customer service and they informed me that USCIS has not requested more documents. Hence I don't under the delay.

- Anybody had a similar experience?
- Any estimates for the time VSC is taking to process applications applied under premium processing?
- Should I ask my lawyer to inquire my case status?

Mine took about 7 days for premium at VSC but it was a renewal.
When I did my first H1, also for premium p took about 2-3 weeks.
 
Got a query

Hi,

My employer told me that they had received a query from USCIS, hence the delay.

Processing after responding to a query

My immigration attorney has responded to an USCIS query regarding my H1 application. The attorney has mailed the response on July 5th.

The online case status does not indicate when they got the response to the query.

Since I have applied for premium processing, I want to know if USCIS takes less than 15 days after getting the response to make a decision or can it take longer?
