H1B petition is pending for 2 years.

Hi,
I came to USA on B1/B2 Visa and before it got expired, H1B petion has been filed at California Service center on the following dates.

B1 Got expired : Nov 25,2002
H1 petiton filed on : Nov 20,2002

Got an RFE for H1B around June 2003 and we had sent our response to RFE.My H1B is still pending and for the past 8 months the status in the website shows that it is taking 15 days.

Based on this i have few questions:
1.Can i apply another H1B from different company?
2.Since, H1B petition is pending for about 2 years, can i legally stay in the country until decison has been made.
3.Is it possible to convert the pending H1B to premium processing?

Please ask your employer to write a letter to the service center regarding your case.
After that, ask your employer to contact the senator in your area. His/her office may sent a letter to the service center on your employer's behalf. This may help to expedite your case. This worked for me 4 yrs ago.
